Community health with roots in the valley

Thinking about and building cognitive wellbeing from our own towns, settlements and communities.

Local challenges and local answers

Bringing knowledge to where life happens

In Patagonia, geographical distances often make it hard to reach highly specialised centres. Valle Vivo sets out to strengthen the capacities already present in each town, so that families can find sound, nearby answers without the need for exhausting journeys.

Nature, gathering and wellbeing

The valley as a therapeutic space

Following successful international experiences, we draw on the benefits of contact with nature. Accessible walks, contact with the greenery of the orchards and outdoor activities stimulate memory, reduce anxiety and restore a sense of belonging and shared joy.

Working as a network

Weaving alliances with the community

We seek to coordinate efforts with municipalities, neighbourhood health centres, older people's clubs and family groups. No initiative on its own is enough, because genuine care is always collective.
